EastWest Bank has poor aftersales service!

It is our first time to transact with EastWest Bank, particularly the one along Dolores, San Fernando, Pampanga. I know that it is our obligation to keep tract of our finances, however it is also the bank’s duty to deliver customer service to their clientele. We neglected to keep track of our checking account with them for December due to the launching of a new business and the holidays, we got sidetracked in short. Then this January, my husband when to their branch to deposit money and was shocked to find out that EastWest Bank closed our checking account without prior notice, they did not even call to inform us that they are doing so. Stunned and speechless, my husband went out of the bank without demanding an explanation however he overheard another lady complaining about the same thing. This bank has the poorest after sales service ever!

Octagon Weird Customer Service

I bought a PC from them (Octagon Cagayan de Oro) last February and it runs good but then five months after the PC was slowly have problems. It came to the point where in the PC no longer boot. So I brought it to their store and and they run some test. After that they said that I have to used a power supply with bigger wattage and so I did bought one. The next day, the PC is back again which would not boot so again I brought to their store. This time they said they will test my Graphics Card and then they said it may be the cause of the problem. While I am not contended on what they say, I looked for ways to test it with my own. I bought another Graphics card to test it. But still the problem was never resolve. Finally they said, they will ship the motherboard to Manila to replace it as they say.

Natures Spa

it’s been like 3 weeks since the last time we’ve been there. Pero up to now, i get weak whenever i think about how i lost my precious bulgari watch during my spa treatment. Nurture Spa was indeed a great place for relaxation located in Tagaytay. The staff were nice and accomodating. Talagang intimate yung place, best for couples. Medyo pricey nga lang… Not included pa yung special dinner… So check in kami ng 6pm, and we had our spa at 6:30pm… 2 yung nagtheraphy sa min, yung isa marunong magjapanese, yung isa mukhang suplada. Pero ok naman yung treatment massage, sa sobrang relaxed ko, nakalimutan ko kunin yung watch ko na nilagay ko lang sa side table. After spa, we had our dinner sa bar kasi nga medyo maulan nun so we we cant have our candle lit dinner in d garden. Ok nga pagkaka-set up, very special talaga, yung waiter lang andun. I thought it was all perfect, pati yung Ifugao hut accomodation nmin. We thought of coming back on september, and sabi ng nung japanese na kasama ko, of all the places na napuntahan namin sa pinas, yung mga staff ng nurture spa lang ang may warm service… kasi di ba alam mo naman sa pinas, di naman lahat pero halos nakakahiya ang services natin sa mga foreigners… then d next day morning, naalala ko yung watch ko na naiwan sa side table… and to my shock, wala daw dun… Nanghina tlaga ako, kasi syempre it was a birthday gift from my mom and it was my dream watch. During that night, kami lang pala ang nag stay dun, and very limited lang mga staff for us to have privacy daw. So nakakapagtaka naman na wala yung watch ko sa spa room.Akala ko makakapag-relax kami, but then umuwi kami may dinadala sadness. During treatment, di nila ginawa yung SOP na lahat ng jewelries namin ilalagay sa security box, yung mali ko lang di ko tinanaong kung meron silang ganun, akal ko kasi di na kailangan yun since very nature yung theme ng company na yun. So yun, up to now wala pa rin progression sa sinasabi nilang imbestiga. Then kanina lang, nakatanggap ako ng cd and gift certificate from them, one facial and one massage. Ano yun, pampalubag loob? godd… well, if ever man na magsstay kayo dun, ingatan nyo na lang mga valuable things nyo, kasi di naman pala nila sagot kung man manakawan kayo or something

Don’t Buy Pets in TIENDESITAS

My sister and her husband bought a female American Cocker Spaniel 3 weeks ago at Tiendesitas and guess what? tumagal lang ng 6 days yung dog. 16k yung pup, they named her yana. she is just 2 months old. yung first 2 days niya sobrang maliksi, makulit and malambing yun pup, in short, di mo aakalain ng may sakit na pala yung pup. at those times, minsan napapansin ng ate ko na parang nagchochoke then susuka siya ng malapot na transparent substance.. my sister ignores it thinking that its normal (cause she’s just a newbie when it comes with taking care of pups) Read all »

Medical City

I, for instance have several incidents to share.

Incident #1
I had a fever that day. Went to Medical City (Sta. Lucia mall). Doctor as usual checked my breathing, temperature, asked several questions. Advised me to have CBC and X-ray then come back tomorrow for the results prior prescribing a medicine. I said, “Doc I can’t wait till tomorrow. The fever is killing me! Read all »

Chowking Fail

Excited for my lunch. Preferred to have it at Chowking Anonas Branch. Since I know I will wait for some minute, I’d chose a chaofan, toppings and a juice. The punch time at the receipt is 12:17 noon. 30 minutes had passed by, so I made some follow-ups. Fuck! I’m dead hungry… It’s almost 1 in the afternoon waiting for my lunch… Another follow-up, and at last there was it! The chaofan… ah no! The dead cold chaofan, whom I’m expected to be served hot- and that was 1:06 pm laready… and where’s the toppings? Oh fuckin’ bullshit, I lost my appetite for I have to wait another tons of minutes…

And to give justice to the food, I ate half-full and left the rest without seeing my ordered toppings… that was fuckin’ frustrating!

McDonalds Experience

As we waited, the shift manager was taking orders. My wife flinched, saying the last time she was there he mixed up her order. I ordered my wife’s fish fillet sandwich with lettuce, onions, and tomato with fries and my cheeseburger plain. He then proceeded to thoroughly confuse the order. I patiently untangled his mess, paid for the order, and received no thank you, no acknowledgment at all! Five minutes went by, then ten minutes. There were no other orders, and I was wondering if the steer had to be killed and the fish caught, when our order finally came up. My double cheeseburger was fine. After all, how can you mess that up.? My wife’s order, though, was a different story. The French fries contained a pound of salt, the fillet was not golden brown, but dark brown and could have been used as a brick, and the tomato was vintage 2002 The shift manager argued, bickered, and eventually and grudgingly gave my wife a refund. We then went to Smiths, bought a frozen dinner, and went home.

Banco De Oro Fail

I used to maintain a relatively large account at BDO SM North Edsa. Every two weeks on a weekend for several months last year, I make it a habit to deposit cash out of my salary.

Initially, depositing was easy. Short queue and longer business hours.

However, as the months went on, I observed that their customers/depositors grew larger. Thus, the lines also went longer. Sad to say, the bank’s management failed to adjust with their growing number of customers. The number of tellers available for service remained the same. Kung meron dito depositor ng BDO Sm North, im sure you will attest to this.

Sobrang nakakapikon yung experience na magdedeposit ka and it will take you at least an hour just to do that!!! Kahit may fast lane sila, isa lang ang nagse-serve.

Now, I only maintain a small amount of money there. Nilipat ko na sa ibang bank at trinoma which is also open during weekends.

Smart Uzzap

Many months ago, I saw some Smart advertisements of a chat service called “Uzzap”.

The animated advertisements were rather zany and fun. From the animation, I had a good idea what the service was about.

After seeing the advertisement, Uzzap to me was:
“Chat on your PC, then bring along your chat via your mobile phone”.

All this info I got from an online animated image advertisement just 10 seconds long. Nice!

More recently, I wanted to be more familiar with Uzzap. Thus, I played around with Uzzap and found out for myself what was behind the advertisement.
